Date certificate

Post by Nitram2204 » Tue Jul 28, 2020 12:39 pm

Hello everyone

Trying to register my 250 SG in the UK and may need a dating certificate. She was first registered in the Netherlands in 1967 but the date plate on the frame is stamped 1955. I have been looking on line but certainly can do with some help, would a foto of the data plate and the Dutch registration papers suffice for the dvla in the UK 😱

Hello from East Devon. I don't know how to get a dating certificate because mine was originally registered in the UK and I wanted to retain the original number. I used Mike Worthington-Williams who writes for Old Bike Mart. He no longer deals direct with DVLA but if you can get hold of the magazine (the subscription is worth it, I think) I expect he will point you in the right direction to deal with your imported bike.
I wish you good luck..............Cheers......................Chris
