George, I'm looking at doing the exact same thing - do you have a good source for a parts list or repair manual?

I wrote a response but cannot see it in the forum. This may be a duplicate. I have a manual from the Allstate Riders Club.82 pages and a lot of detail. Illustrations are pretty fuzzy from multiple copies made from copies etc. Be glad to send you a copy. I think the two years (65 and 66) will be pretty identical If you have an original or readable manual I would appreciate a digital copy.

I have two fellows that told me they have parts. I sent them a list of what I needed/wanted and asked about the availability and cost. Both responded immediately and said they would look into it and let me know. I was able to get the parts #s from the manual) .

The 65 has a vinyl front fender (coral) and some vinyl trim (crème). The wheels are Crème and everything else is Coral. I have the Sears paint numbers but have not yet tried to cross reference them.

If I can help call or email. 985 285 2943 gs5575@yahoo.com

I have two fellows who said they probably have what I need. I sent them the parts numbers and now waiting on a response. The engine and trans appear OK. Wheel bearings in great shape. Body has some dings and scratches but looks good. Brake shoes are good but the adhesive has dried up and they have fallen off. Cables are workable but some damage over the years.

I got a manual from the Allstate Scooter Club - very complete with a lot of detail but having been copied from a copy etc the illustrations are very blurred. I am trying to get a digital copy and If successful will forward to you. If you get a good copy I would appreciate if you would email a good copy to me. gs5575@YAHOO.COM or georgesaunders37@gmail.com.
The "plate" riveted to the body side has your Model #. Mine is 810.94390 60cc-3 speed-all metal body except for two trim parts and the front fender which are vinyl/plastic/rubber ???
Anything I can help you with let me know. As a matter of information to you - I am retired - for something to do I restored a 1954 Ford. Fun but a big job and expensive. Thought I would try something smaller and cheaper. Much less static from the better half.

I found this: $20, but hey, if you need it you need it, right?

And Motorwest does appear to have the manual listed on their website, which is good to know.

I'm picking up a '67 and '68 - Are DS60's kick-start only?
