250SG seeking spare parts
Hello I'm Ed from Surrey in the UK and I am new to the forum . I have recently acquired a 1955 Allstate / Puch 250SG . Today I was fortunate enough to receive news that my NOVA certification has been approved and I am in the process of getting the bike registered with the DVLA . The bike is a running restoration project and I am going to need to source a few spare parts to get the bike MOT ready . I urgently need a front mudguard , exhaust downpipes and the handlebar mounted light , engine kill switch . If any members close to me can supply any of these parts I would greatly appreciate the help .

Re: 250SG seeking spare parts
Hi Ed. I'm Chris from Devon and I have the bulk of a 1960ish SGS 250 which was used for spares to help with the restoration of my SGS which is now up and running. I think the mudguard and downpipes should be available although in need of refurbishment due to rust. The ignition/light switch is on top of the headlamp housing which sounds different than yours. If you would like to email me, I'm on curtisshep@tiscali.co.uk. They're great little bikes, reliable and comfortable. There is a shot of my bike here:- https://colytongarage.co.uk/gallery/nggallery/page/2
See page 2 of the gallery. The switch is visible in the image.
Hope to be of some help.............Chris

Re: 250SG seeking spare parts
Thanks guys , Chrisonpuch I have sent you an email regarding the spares and bocutter yes your right it is the handlebar switch housing . Ive managed to get a replica switch from puch in Austria now . If it ever stops raining this week I shall get the bike out and attempt fitting that switch .
