Lead on a couple restorable bikes.

Post by Draco63 » Mon May 30, 2016 7:41 pm

I stopped by "39 Clasic Cycles" in Eureka Springs AR while I was on vacation. Noticed a early 70's Puch Maxi out front. I think it was a Maxi. Don't know much about scooters. Went inside to see if he had anything good. Lots of Harly parts old and new. I asked about about Puch parts. He said he just picked up a 61 250. So I went to have a look. The bike is mostly there. Tips were missing from the exhaust, head light is from a different bike. Didn't look in the tank. Owner said he had a title and the bike had compression. Looked like a good candidate for restoration if anyone is looking for a project. Didn't ask about a price because I wasn't in the market for another 250.
